About Me
Documentary photographer, filmmaker, author, and Editor-in-Chief of Terra Cultura.
Damien Lafon is the author of Eyes on Bali, exploring the island’s changing cultural landscape, and Bali From the Sky, presenting a fifteen-year aerial vision of the Indonesian archipelago. He holds a university degree in marine biology and is a certified scientific diver, bringing a strong ecological perspective to his documentary work.
Damien is the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Terra Cultura, an independent media dedicated to nature, culture, and human stories. His documentary films have received recognition at several international film festivals, reflecting his commitment to authentic, long-term storytelling.
Working independently and in collaboration with institutions, brands, NGOs, and editorial partners, he continues to produce documentary photography, films, and written features that explore the connections between people, wildlife, and the environment.
