Damien Lafon is the author of Eyes on Bali, a book exploring the island’s shifting cultural landscape, and Bali From the Sky, which presents a fifteen year aerial vision of the Indonesian archipelago. He holds a university degree in marine biology and is a certified scientific diver, adding a strong ecological perspective to his fieldwork.
Damien is the co founder and editor in chief of Terra Cultura, an independent media focused on nature, culture, and human stories. He works independently and with several brands and institutions, and is currently producing a documentary film on the ancestral mortuary traditions of Trunyan in Bali.
