Damien Lafon is the author of Eyes on Bali, a book documenting the evolving cultural landscape of the island, and Bali From the Sky, which offers a fifteen-year aerial perspective on the Indonesian archipelago. He holds a university degree in marine biology and is a certified scientific diver, bringing a deeper ecological understanding to his fieldwork.
Damien is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Terra Cultura, an independent media outlet focused on nature, culture, and human stories. He works independently and in collaboration with various organizations, including recent editorial partnerships with National Geographic Indonesia.
